The Auto cannon is a cannon that fires without the need of you aiming. It can be upgraded to add more auto cannons, starting at 1 and capping at 3. The auto-cannon will automatically fire at any enemy ship within its radius, even ships off-screen, so you're able to know that an enemy is near. After you buy an auto cannon, it doesn't branch off to any other weapon.
It does less damage than the swivel cannon. This is because it has a passive aiming ability, eliminating the need to aim, so damage is balanced out.

- Upgrade range to improve your precision.
- It is impossible to ambush or to be ambushed, as your auto cannons will shoot at anything that is in their radius.
- It is recommended that this weapon is useful for killing bosses because you could attack them while you move away to avoid its attacks.
- You can use the mouse-only control mode because you can use your mouse to turn, making ships with auto cannons better to maneuver.
